Who We Are!

Skateland of Brandon is a roller skating facility in operation since 1977.

We offer a safe place where kids of all ages can gather to have fun.  While we want everyone to enjoy their visit, rules will be enforced to ensure the safety of all our patrons, the image of our facility and the relationship we share within the community.

We have video games, pool tables and foosball in addition to skating fun.

Our Snack Bar offers Pepsi products and an extensive menu.

Our Pro Shop offers the latest in skates and accessories in addition to Novelties.

There is always competent supervision on hand with on-site security at our Friday and Saturday night sessions.  We are committed to offering "clean" music and wholesome fun for every patron entering our Facility.

Dress Code/Customer Rules

1.  If I have my own skates, can I use them at Skateland?

A:  Yes!  We allow most skates to be used here at Skateland.  We ask that there be no exposed metal that would scratch our maple floor and that your wheels be clean.  We do have a wheel washer available at our facility for your convenience.

2.  Do you rent In-Line (rollerblades) skates?

A:  Yes, in-line skates are available for rent in limited numbers from sizes 3 through 9 only.  They usually cost $3.00 extra.

3.  How about Speed Skates?

A:  Speed skate rentals are also available in sizes 4 through 11.  Cost can vary from $2.00 to $2.50, depending on when you come skating.

4.  When are All Night Skates held?

A:  We usually have 4 All-Nighters per year:  New Year's Eve, Spring Break, Last Day of School in June and Labor Day Weekend.

5.  When are Sock Hops held?

A:  Sock Hops are on selected Saturday nights, usually the fourth Saturday.  Check back monthly to get the right dates!

6.  What is the "Family Special"?

A:  Our Family Special is available at our Thursday evening session from 7 - 10 p.m., Sunday afternoons from 1 - 4:30 p.m.  This special is limited to 4 people, immediate family only, and at least one parent must stay here with the children.  Admission for the family is $15.00 and regular skate rental is $1.00 extra per person.

7.  When is Christian Music Night?

A:  We have a special Christian Music Night the second Tuesday of every month (except in May).  We are open those evening from 7 - 9 p.m.  Admission is $3.50 per person and regular skates rent  for $1.00 extra.  In June and July, we have Christian Music Night on the second and fourth Tuesdays.  Check the monthly schedule for dates.

8.  How old do you have to be to work at Skateland?

A:  Hiring age at Skateland is 16 or older and it helps if you are a good skater and have reliable transportation.

9.   What forms of payment are accepted at Skateland?

A:  Here at Skateland we only accept CASH for payment.  There is an ATM on site

      for your convenience


Neatness of dress and person is expected of anyone who is entering the building.

No extremely low necklines, bare midriffs, short shorts or muscle shirts.

No exposed undergarments are permitted.

No vulgar or drug reference patches or writing on clothing.

No hats or head coverings are allowed on the skating surface.

No bandanas of any kind are to be worn or displayed in the building.

No bare feet.

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building.

You must be 18 or older to leave the building to smoke and proof of age may be required.

Skateland of Brandon is a "GUM FREE" area.  No gum chewing is allowed!

For your safety and security, please lock all personal items in lockers, or check them in the Skate Room.

No alcoholic beverages are permitted.  You cannot skate if you have been drinking.

No profanity please.

No fighting!  If you are caught fighting, you will be barred for 30 days.

No pushing, fast skating or playing tag is permitted.

We reserve the right to check all bags.

Anyone wearing skates is not permitted to pick up and/or carry anyone else.

We promote clean, fun, friendly and safe behavior.  Inconsiderate behavior will not be tolerate.  We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone not meeting our standards of good taste and to evict persons not following the policies of this rink.

No loitering outside the building, in or out of vehicles.

PARENTS ARE ASKED TO PLEASE PICK UP THEIR CHILDREN PROMPTLY AFTER EACH SESSION!
